This web site (“the web site”) is owned and operated by Kansai International Academy . 

Kansai International Academy (“KIA”) and will be referred to as “We”, “our '' and “us” in this Privacy Policy (“privacy policy”). We acknowledge the critical importance of protecting private information collected from examinees, students, graduates, parents and guardians (“privacy information”). All the staff at KIA are obliged to follow the privacy policy, and we will make our best effort to take measures to handle private information appropriately.


Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information unless you voluntarily provide it by sending us an e-mail, participating in a survey, or completing an online form. Personal information submitted will not be transferred to any non-affiliated third parties unless otherwise stated at the time of collection. When a user submits personally identifiable information it is used only for the purpose stated at the time of collection.
Voluntarily Provided Information
We collect information from users of our site such as name, email, and phone number when you request information about the school or contact us. Personal information that you provide by email or web forms will be used only for such purposes as are described at the point of collection (for example on a web form), such as to send information to you or respond to your questions or comments. If you provide contact information, we may contact you to clarify your comment or question, or to learn about your level of interest in, or satisfaction with our services. We do not share or sell any personal information to third parties except as described in this privacy policy.

Like most standard website servers we use website statistic packages such as Google Analytics to analyze trends in how our website is accessed and utilized. We ensure any privacy information collected are handled appropriately, however, personal information of students, graduates or parents/ guardians may be disclosed without consent in special situations such as:

- when duty to cooperate with governmental institution occurs
- when an individual's life is threatened by unexpected situations
- when authorised to disclose with reasonable reasons

Private information of graduates is disclosed only for the purpose of further studies, educational activities and support with consent of graduates and their parents/guardians. 
When the privacy information is disclosed with third parties, we will sign a “confidential agreement to privacy information”, and we strive to keep the personal information to stay with us. 
 

Revision of Privacy Policy

We will revise our privacy policy if any changes are made in the Japanese legislation, and we strive to revise and update our privacy policy when necessary and appropriate. 
 

Our Responsibilities

We strive to ensure security, however, we will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access to your personal information. 
Please be informed of any changes or cancellation may occur without any notice on the web site. We will not be held responsible for any circumstances due to the changes and cancellation.
