関西国際学園中高等部では、2027年度よりIB Diploma Programme（DP）Computer Scienceを新たに開講します。
テクノロジーが社会を大きく変えている今、求められているのはただツールを「使う」力ではなく、その仕組みを理解し自ら新しい価値を「創る」力です。
本校ではこれまでも、初等部（PYP）から中等部（MYP）にかけて、論理的思考力やテクノロジーによる課題解決力を段階的に育んできました。今回開設するDP Computer Scienceは、その一貫した学びを結実させる集大成となる科目です。
DP Computer Scienceでは、プログラミングの技術を身につけるだけではなく、コンピューターがどのように情報を処理し、アルゴリズムによってどのように問題を解決しているのかを体系的に学びます。実際の課題に向き合い、自ら問いを立て、解決策を設計し、形にしていく学びです。
DP Computer Scienceの開講を通して、生徒一人ひとりのテクノロジーへの興味や探究心を、将来の専門的な学びや進路へとつなげるとともに、変化の激しいこれからの社会で、新たな価値を自ら創り出すことのできる力を育んでいきます。
【DP Computer Science】A new course will be offered starting in April, 2027
Starting in the 2027 academic year, Kansai International Academy Secondary School will offer the IB DP (Diploma Programme) in Computer Science course.
In a rapidly changing technological society, students must know more than how to use technology. It is essential that they also know how the technology functions and how to create something new.
Throughout their time at our school, students have developed their critical thinking and problem-solving skills using technology in both the PYP (elementary school) and the MYP (junior high school)
